Remove the test from its foil wrapper and remove the cap to expose the absorbent tip. Hold the test by the thumb grip, pointing the absorbent tip downward. Place the tip in your urine stream for five seconds, ensuring the entire absorbent tip is saturated. Alternatively, you can collect urine in a clean container and dip the tip for five seconds.

Replace the cap and lay the test flat on a clean, dry surface with the result windows facing up. Wait three minutes for results to appear. Do not read results after ten minutes as they may not be accurate.

For most accurate results, test with your first morning urine when hCG concentrations are highest. You can test any time of day, but morning urine typically provides the most reliable results, especially when testing early. Avoid drinking excessive fluids before testing as this can dilute your urine and potentially affect results. If you receive a negative result but still suspect pregnancy, wait a few days and test again, as hCG levels double approximately every 48-72 hours in early pregnancy.
