How Much Does Wegovy Cost in the UK?

Wegovy Prices at Cured Pharmacy by Dose

Each Wegovy pen holds four weekly doses, so one pen covers a month of treatment. Prices include your online consultation and delivery.

What the first four months typically cost

Most patients start on 0.25mg and move up a dose every four weeks if they are tolerating treatment. Following that schedule takes you to 1.7mg in the fourth month, before reaching the 2.4mg maintenance dose from week 17. Your first pen is £69 with the new-patient discount. Your prescriber decides when, or whether, to increase your dose, and some patients stay on a lower dose.

Cheapest Wegovy UK: How Our Prices Compare

We checked the price of a single Wegovy pen on other UK online pharmacies' websites on 12 October 2026. Prices change often, so check the pharmacy's own site before ordering.

Our standard price is the same as or lower than Boots Online Doctor at every dose. Simple Online Pharmacy's subscription prices are lower than our standard repeat price from 0.5mg upwards, but they require an ongoing subscription. Cured Pharmacy has no subscription: you order each pen when you need it.

Why Wegovy Prices Vary Between UK Pharmacies

Wegovy is made by Novo Nordisk, but each private pharmacy sets its own selling price. The main reasons prices differ are:

• First-order discounts. Many pharmacies, including us, discount the first pen. Look at the repeat price too, because that is what you'll pay for most of your treatment.
• Subscriptions. Some pharmacies charge less if you sign up for regular deliveries. Check how to pause or cancel, and whether the price changes when your dose goes up.
• Consultation and review fees. Some providers charge separately for the consultation or for check-ins. Ours are included.
• Delivery. Wegovy has to be sent in temperature-controlled packaging. Check whether delivery is extra.

Wegovy Tablet Prices

Wegovy is also available as a daily tablet (oral semaglutide) for people who would rather not inject. A pack is a 4-week supply.

Wegovy vs Mounjaro on Price

Wegovy starts cheaper than Mounjaro: £69 for the 0.25mg pen compared with £124.99 for the Mounjaro 2.5mg pen (first-order prices with code Weightlossnew). At maintenance doses, Wegovy 2.4mg is £179, while Mounjaro ranges from £159 (5mg) to £267 (15mg). Mounjaro led to more weight loss than Wegovy in a head-to-head trial, so the cheaper medicine isn't automatically the better value. Your prescriber can help you decide which suits you. How to Check You're Getting Genuine Wegovy

Wegovy is a prescription-only medicine. You should only buy it from a pharmacy that asks about your health before supplying it. Before you order anywhere:

• Check the pharmacy on the GPhC register.
• Expect a consultation that asks about your weight, medical history and other medicines.
• Be wary of Wegovy sold through social media, or at prices far below registered pharmacies. It is likely to be counterfeit.
