How to Use Your Braun NTF3000 Thermometer

Remove the thermometer from its packaging and insert the 2 AA batteries provided. Press the power button to activate the device and wait for the ready signal. Position the thermometer 0.5 to 5cm away from the centre of the forehead, ensuring the person's forehead is clean and dry.

Press and release the measurement button once. The thermometer will emit a beep when the reading is complete, typically within 2 seconds. The temperature will display on the screen along with a colour-coded indicator showing normal, elevated, or high temperature ranges.

Taking Accurate Temperature Measurements

For most accurate results, ensure the person has been indoors for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement. Avoid measuring immediately after physical activity, bathing, or eating hot or cold foods. Remove any hair, sweat, or cosmetics from the forehead area before measurement.

Take the measurement in a room with stable temperature between 16°C and 35°C. If moving between different temperature environments, allow the thermometer to adjust to room temperature for 30 minutes before use. The device will store your reading automatically in its memory for future reference.
