Accu-Chek Fastclix Lancets for Blood Glucose Testing

You can rely on these sterile, single-use lancets designed specifically for the Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device. Each pack contains 24 individually sealed lancets that provide a comfortable and precise blood sampling experience for your daily glucose monitoring routine.

These lancets feature a fine gauge needle that minimises discomfort whilst ensuring adequate blood flow for accurate glucose readings. The drum design eliminates the need to handle individual lancets, reducing the risk of accidental needle stick injuries and maintaining sterility until use.

How FastClix Technology Works

The unique drum system contains six pre-loaded lancets that advance automatically with each use. You simply click the cap to advance to the next sterile lancet, making your testing routine more convenient and hygienic.

The precision-engineered needle penetrates the skin smoothly and retracts quickly, minimising tissue damage and reducing the pain often associated with blood glucose testing. This technology helps encourage regular monitoring, which is essential for effective diabetes management alongside other diabetes monitoring supplies.

Suitable for Regular Glucose Monitoring

These fastclix lancets are appropriate for adults and children who require regular blood glucose testing as part of their diabetes management plan. The 24-pack provides sufficient lancets for approximately one month of testing, based on typical monitoring frequencies.

The lancets are particularly suitable for:

  • People with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes requiring frequent glucose monitoring
  • Individuals who experience discomfort with traditional lancets
  • Those seeking a more hygienic lancing solution
  • Users who prefer the convenience of pre-loaded lancet systems

Sterile and Single-Use Design

Each lancet maintains sterility through individual sealing within the drum system. This design prevents contamination and ensures each blood sample is taken with a fresh, sharp needle. The single-use nature eliminates the risk of infection that can occur with lancet reuse.

The lancets are manufactured to strict quality standards and undergo rigorous testing to ensure consistent performance and safety. The fine gauge design balances comfort with effective blood sampling, supporting accurate glucose meter readings.

Storage and Compatibility Requirements

Store these lancets at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the original packaging intact until ready to use to maintain sterility and product integrity.

These lancets are exclusively compatible with Accu-Chek FastClix lancing devices and cannot be used with other lancing systems. Ensure you have the correct device before use, and always check the expiry date printed on the packaging.

This product is a medicine. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using if you have an underlying medical condition or are taking other medicines.

How to Use Accu-Chek FastClix Lancets

Insert the lancet drum into your Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device according to the device instructions. Remove the protective cap and ensure the drum clicks into place securely. Prime the device by clicking the cap once to advance to the first lancet.

Select your desired depth setting on the lancing device based on your skin type and testing requirements. Press the device firmly against the side of your fingertip and press the release button to obtain your blood sample. After use, click the cap to advance to the next sterile lancet for your next test.

Proper Disposal and Replacement

Replace the lancet drum when all six lancets have been used, as indicated by the device. Dispose of used lancet drums in a sharps container or according to your local healthcare waste disposal guidelines. Never attempt to remove individual lancets from the drum system.

Each 24-pack contains four drums of six lancets each. Keep track of your usage to ensure you always have replacement lancets available for consistent glucose monitoring. Store unused drums in their original packaging until needed.
