Product Description :

Orlistat is a medication designed to aid in weight loss by blocking the absorption of dietary fast. It works by inhibiting the enzyme lipase which breaks down fat in the intestines reducing the amount of fat absorbed into the body. Orlistat is commonly used as part of a comprehensive weight management plan including a reduce calorie diet and exercise. It is available  strength 120mg.

How to Use :

Orlistat should be taken as directed by a healthcare professional. Typically it is taken three times a day with each main meal containing fat. If a meal is skipped or dose not contain fat the should be omitted. It is essential to follow a nutritionally balanced reduce calorie diet that including approximately 30% of calories from fat to minimize potential side effect.

Directions :

  1. Take one capsule 120gm with water up to three times daily.
  2. Consume the capsule during or up to one hour after a fat containing meal.
  3. If meal a skipped or contains no fat skip that dose.
  4. Follow a low calorie low fat diet and exercise regularly.
  5. Supplement with a multivitamin (A, D, E, and k) once daily at least 2 hours before or after taking Orlistat.

Warnings :

  • Not for use in individuals with chronic malabsorption syndrome or cholestasis.
  • Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  • Possible side effects include oily stools increased bowel movements flatulence and abdominal discomfort. 
  • Drug interactions : Orlistat may affect the absorption of certain medications including fat soluble vitamins cyclosporine and some anticoagulants. Consult a  doctor before use.

Storage Information :

  • Store at room temperature (15-25°C or 59-77°F) in a dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not use past the expiration date.

How to use Orlistat 120mg Weight Loss Capsules

Swallow one Orlistat 120mg capsule with water three times a day with your main meals that contain fat. You can take the capsule up to one hour before or after your meal. The capsule should be swallowed whole with water.

Avoid skipping meals because if you do, then you must skip that dose. Do not exceed 3 capsules in a 24-hour period.

For best results, take Orlistat as part of a reduced-calorie, lower-fat diet and physical activity. Divide your daily fat intake equally between breakfast, lunch, and dinner to reduce digestive side effects.

If you forget to take a dose, take your next capsule at the normal time, with your next meal. Do not take extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

How long does Orlistat take to work?

Orlistat starts working when you take your first capsule;

How long does Orlistat stay in your system?

Orlistat is not absorbed in large amounts into the bloodstream. Instead, it works in your digestive system and is cleared from your body through bowel movements after it lasts for 12-72 hours.

Possible Side Effects of Orlistat
