Buy Opatanol (Olapatadine) Eye drops 5ML Online In The UK

Opatanol Eye Drops is a fast-acting antihistamine allergy relief to treat itchy, red, and watery eyes caused by allergic conjunctivitis. Each bottle contains olopatadine 1mg/mL, an effective anti-allergic substance that targets what makes your eyes red and calms irritation and stops the allergic reaction at its source.

These drops are especially a blessing during peak pollen seasons, like spring and summer, but can also be taken when allergies are triggered by dust mites, pets, mould, and environmental irritants. Opatanol starts to work within minutes and lasts all day – it’s perfect for someone suffering from perennial or seasonal eye allergies.

Its gentle formulation is appropriate for adults and children ages 3 years and up, so the product can be used alongside oral antihistamines if necessary. It’s preservative-containing, but there are no contraindications for use in most users, and it is formulated to treat eye allergies without the side effects of over-the-counter allergy pills when used as directed.

How to Prepare Before Using Opatanol Eye Drops

Before applying the drops, make sure your hands are clean by washing them thoroughly with soap and water. Shake the bottle gently if advised and remove any contact lenses, as these should not be worn while using Opatanol. Ensure the bottle tip remains clean and avoid touching it to your fingers, eyes, or any surface to prevent contamination.

How to Apply the Eye Drops Correctly

Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the bottle above the eye and squeeze one drop into the pocket—avoid touching the eye with the dropper. Close your eyes gently for a few seconds to allow the medication to absorb. Repeat the same process in the other eye if prescribed. The usual dose is one drop in each affected eye twice daily, ideally 8 hours apart.

Important Usage Tips and Safety Advice

Do not exceed the recommended dosage, even if symptoms feel severe. If you wear contact lenses, wait at least 10–15 minutes before putting them back in. If more than one type of eye medication is being used, leave at least 5 minutes between each one to prevent dilution. If you accidentally miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember—unless it’s almost time for your next dose. Never apply two doses at once.
