Buy Differin Gel Online in the UK

Differin Gel is a light, clear gel that contains the powerful active ingredient Adapalene 0.1%. It basically acts as a vitamin C for your skin. How it is simple, it speeds up the process of how your skin renews itself

You can apply Differin Gel on your face, chest, or back, which makes it super versatile if your acne isn’t just in one spot.

The recommended dosage is usually taken once daily in the evening, right before going to bed. Differin Gel is suitable if you are above the age of 12 years old.

Differin is available as both a gel and a cream. The gel is typically a better fit for individuals with oily or normal skin, and if your skin leans more toward dry or sensitive, the cream is gentler.

As powerful as Differin is, it isn’t an overnight fix; most people start seeing results in about 8 to 12 weeks, so you’ve gotta stick with it.

Remember to keep Differin Gel out of the reach of children, and do not store it above 25°C.

How to use Differin (Adapalene) 0.1% Gel 45g

When using Differin Gel, make sure you follow the exact prescription as given to you by a pharmacist. This medicine is for external use only.

Start by washing the area you want to apply it to with either water or a gentle cleanser. After washing, make sure the skin is completely dry. Apply a thin film of the gel using your fingertips around the affected areas and rub it in gently. Once you’re done, wash your hands.

Differin is recommended, and the most likely dosage will be once daily, in the evening before going to bed. The duration of using the Differin Gel depends on how your skin responds to the treatment. Most people use Differin for several weeks, and it’s recommended to check in with your pharmacist after about 3 months.

Applying more gel than directed won’t clear your acne any quicker and may leave your skin red, dry, or irritated. If you miss a night of Differin, just use it the next evening as usual.

If you accidentally swallow any gel, get medical advice immediately.

Side effects of Differin (Adapalene) 0.1% Gel 45g

You shouldn’t use Differin Gel if you’re allergic to any of its ingredients. Don’t put it on cuts, scrapes, sunburn, or if you’ve got eczema. Make sure you keep it away from your eyes, lips, and the corners of your nose, and if it does get there, rinse it off with lots of water.

Also, since Differin can increase your skin’s sensitivity, it’s better to avoid sun exposure or UV lamps. If you’re spending plenty of time outside, wear sunscreen or perhaps a hat or clothing to cover your skin. If you’re also using other acne treatments, like benzoyl peroxide or clindamycin, they should typically be applied in the morning, with Differin reserved for night unless your pharmacist suggests otherwise. You don’t have to give up makeup; you can still use it, but opt for oil-free or non-comedogenic products that won’t clog pores and let your skin breathe.

Differin isn’t safe during pregnancy. If you got pregnant while taking it, discontinue immediately and alert your pharmacist. You can use it while breastfeeding; however, just don’t apply it to your chest to help ensure that your baby doesn’t touch it.

This gel also contains propylene glycol, which some people find irritating to the skin, and methyl parahydroxybenzoate, which can cause allergic reactions.

Like all acne treatments, some side effects are possible. Not everyone gets them, but here’s what you might notice:

Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 people):

  • Dry skin
  • Skin irritation
  • Redness
  • Peeling
  • Burning sensation on the skin

Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people):

  • Itching
  • Sunburn
  • Localised skin discomfort
  • Temporary flare-up of acne

Rare (may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people):

  • Swelling or pain of the skin
  • Irritation, redness, or swelling of the eyelids
