Buy Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel Online in the UK

Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel is a medicine used on the skin to treat acne. It’s a combination gel that treats breakouts in two different ways. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that stops acne-causing bacteria, and the benzoyl peroxide works to unplug your skin, kill the bacteria, and reduce inflammation.

When applied in combination, these ingredients not only decrease the spots you already have but also decrease the likelihood of new ones cropping up. This is what makes the gel perfect for those who experience regular breakouts featuring a combination of blackheads, whiteheads, and red, inflamed spots.

Some people begin to see the benefits after a few weeks, but you may need to use it for up to 6–8 weeks before the full effect of this medicine can be seen. It’s important to keep on using it even though you don’t see instant results.

This gel is the generic version of Duac 1% / 5% Gel (30g). It works in the same way as the branded product, but it’s a lot cheaper, making it a more affordable option if you need long-term acne treatment.

Who is Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel for?

As the matter of fact, the treatment is appropriate for adults and teenagers over 12 years old who are troubled by mild to moderate acne of blackheads, whiteheads, and inflamed red spots.

It is not suitable for people who are allergic to clindamycin, benzoyl peroxide, or other topical antibiotics. If you have very sensitive skin, eczema, or a history of severe skin irritation, speak with your pharmacist or doctor before using this medication.

How to Use Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel

Always use this treatment as prescribed by the pharmacists; using too much won’t make it more effective, it will only increase the side effects of it.

  • Apply once a day, usually in the evening before going to bed. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat it dry before applying it.
  • Use a thin layer; a pea-sized amount is usually enough to cover the whole face. Gently spread it across the affected spots, not just dot it in the affected spots.
  • Avoid the gel around sensitive areas. Keep away from the eyes, mouth, inside the nose, and any broken skin.
  • Wash your hands properly after applying gel.

It is normal to have some dryness, redness, or mild peeling when you first begin treatment. If it’s still causing discomfort, consider using the gel every other night until your skin acclimates.

You may not see results right away. Most people need to use it for at least 4–6 weeks before they notice clearer skin, and the best results often appear after 8–12 weeks of consistent use.

If your skin tends to react easily, you may do this by applying a gentle moisturizer first and then applying the gel. This technique may aid in mitigating irritation without affecting its effectiveness. In addition, the frequency of use may also be slowly increased. For example, you could only use it every other night for the first week before progressing to once every night.
