Aknemycin Plus 25ml Solution is a topical treatment for acne that combines erythromycin, an antibiotic, and tretinoin, a retinoid. They work together to reduce both the bacteria that cause it and the blocked pores.

The antibiotic Erythromycin works in stopping the growth of acne-causing bacteria on the skin, reducing redness and inflammation. The second ingredient, tretinoin, works by promoting skin cell turnover, which stops pores from clogging whilst also allowing old blemishes to disappear quickly.

Most people notice benefits in a matter of weeks, but it can take longer to see maximum returns. When used regularly, Aknemycin Plus can not only clear existing breakouts but also stop further new ones from forming.

The product should be kept in a normal room temperature, away from direct light and out of the reach of children.

Aknemycin Plus is usually recommended for individuals who have been living with a moderate form of acne and/or to those whose condition failed to improve with the help of over-the-counter creams or face washes. Since it’s an antibiotic and a retinoid, the two work together to clear your skin; the medication helps rid your skin of acne-causing bacteria while also minimizing inflammation, improving texture, and preventing new spots.

Aknemycin Plus must be used as prescribed by your pharmacist. Too much may cause skin to become irritated, dry or red, while using too little might slow results. Consistency is important and using a simple cleanser and non-comedogenic moisturiser alongside can help keep the skin healthy and comfortable while on treatment.

Steps On How to Use Aknemycin Plus 25ml Solution for Acne

Firstly, always use the treatment as prescribed by your pharmacist. Here are the 3 steps to use Aknemycin Plus 25ml Solution.

  1. Start by washing the affected skin area with a gentle cleanser, then pat dry.
  2. After the skin is completely dry, apply a thin layer of the solution to areas that are affected, usually once or twice a day. Consult your pharmacist for your personal daily dose.

  3. Wash your hands after application.

Do not apply to sensitive areas like the mouth, eyes, broken, sunburned, or irritated skin. If your skin becomes dry or irritated, you may need to use the solution less often.

Activating the Applicator and Applying the Solution

Before using Aknemycin Plus for the first time, you must prepare the applicator. You can achieve this by pushing the applicator's tip on a clean surface until the pad is saturated with solution. When you press lightly on the skin, the applicator releases medicine evenly.

Duration Of Treatment

Use Aknemycin Plus 1-2 times per day and as prescribed by your pharmacist. How long people need to take the medication varies, but most start to see improvement within a few weeks.

For best results, keep using the treatment as prescribed by your pharmacist. When your skin begins to clear. Stopping early will give acne the chance to come back. If, after 6-8 weeks, you don’t see any improvement, please contact your pharmacist for advice.
