Thealoz Duo Eye Drops for Dry Eye Relief

You can find relief from dry, irritated eyes with Thealoz Duo Eye Drops, a preservative-free solution designed to restore moisture and comfort to your eyes. This 10ml bottle contains a dual-action formula that helps protect and hydrate the surface of your eyes when natural tear production is insufficient.

The drops work by forming a protective layer over your eye surface whilst providing long-lasting lubrication. You'll find this particularly helpful if you experience symptoms such as burning, stinging, or the feeling of having something in your eye.

How Thealoz Duo Works on Your Eye Surface

The formulation contains two key components that work together to address different aspects of dry eye symptoms. The first component helps to stabilise your tear film, whilst the second provides immediate lubrication and moisture retention.

When you apply the drops, they spread evenly across your eye surface, creating a protective barrier that helps prevent further moisture loss. This dual mechanism means you get both immediate relief and longer-lasting comfort compared to single-ingredient eye drops available in our eye care collection.

Who Should Consider Using These Eye Drops

These thealoz duo eye drops are suitable for you if you experience various forms of dry eye symptoms. The preservative-free formula makes them particularly appropriate for frequent use and sensitive eyes.

You may find these drops helpful if you experience:

  • Dry, gritty, or sandy feeling in your eyes
  • Burning or stinging sensations
  • Excessive tearing as a response to dryness
  • Discomfort when wearing contact lenses

Why Choose Preservative-Free Eye Drops

The preservative-free formulation means you can use these drops as frequently as needed without concern about preservative-related irritation. Traditional eye drops often contain preservatives that can cause additional irritation with frequent use, particularly if you have sensitive eyes.

Each single-dose container ensures sterility whilst eliminating the risk of preservative sensitivity. This makes the drops suitable for long-term use and for people who need to apply eye drops multiple times throughout the day.

Storage and Handling Requirements

You should store these eye drops at room temperature and use each single-dose container immediately after opening. Do not save opened containers for later use, as this could lead to contamination.

Keep the unopened containers in their original packaging to protect them from light. Check the expiry date before use and do not use if the solution appears cloudy or contains particles.

This product is a medicine. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using if you have an underlying medical condition or are taking other medicines.

How to Apply Thealoz Duo Eye Drops

Before applying the drops, wash your hands thoroughly and remove contact lenses if you wear them. Twist off the top of one single-dose container completely. Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

Hold the container above your eye and squeeze gently to release one or two drops into the pocket you've created. Avoid touching the tip of the container to your eye or eyelid. Close your eye gently and blink a few times to distribute the solution evenly across your eye surface.

Recommended Dosage and Frequency

You can typically use one to two drops in each affected eye as needed throughout the day. The preservative-free formula allows for frequent application without the risk of preservative-related irritation that can occur with other eye drops.

If you wear contact lenses, you can apply the drops whilst wearing them, but you may find it more comfortable to remove them first. Wait at least 15 minutes after applying the drops before reinserting your contact lenses. Discard each single-dose container immediately after use, even if there is solution remaining.
