Paracetamol Soluble Tablets for Fast Pain Relief

Panadol ActiFast Soluble Tablets contain 500mg of paracetamol in a fast-dissolving formulation designed to provide quicker pain relief than standard tablets. Each pack contains 24 soluble tablets that dissolve completely in water, creating a pleasant-tasting solution that's easier to swallow than conventional tablets.

This medicine is suitable for treating mild to moderate pain including headaches, dental pain, period pain, muscular aches, and symptoms of cold and flu. The soluble format makes it particularly convenient for those who have difficulty swallowing tablets or prefer liquid medication.

How Soluble Paracetamol Works Faster

The soluble formulation allows paracetamol to be absorbed more quickly into your bloodstream compared to standard tablets. When dissolved in water, the active ingredient is already in solution, which means your body can absorb it faster once consumed.

Paracetamol works by blocking the production of prostaglandins in your brain and spinal cord. These chemicals are responsible for transmitting pain signals and causing inflammation. By reducing prostaglandin production, paracetamol effectively reduces your perception of pain and helps lower fever.

Who Can Use These Tablets

These tablets are suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age. They're particularly helpful for people who struggle with swallowing conventional tablets or those seeking faster pain relief. The soluble format also makes accurate dosing easier to achieve.

This medication is appropriate for various types of pain relief needs:

  • Headaches and migraines
  • Dental pain and toothache
  • Period pain and menstrual cramps
  • Muscular aches and joint pain
  • Cold and flu symptoms with fever

If you're looking for other paracetamol soluble tablets or additional pain management options, you can explore our comprehensive pain relief collection for suitable alternatives.

Why Choose the ActiFast Formula

The ActiFast formulation is specifically designed to dissolve quickly and completely in water, typically within 2-3 minutes. This rapid dissolution means the paracetamol can begin working faster than standard tablet forms, which need to break down in your stomach first.

The pleasant taste makes this medication more acceptable, particularly for those who find standard paracetamol tablets bitter or difficult to tolerate. Each tablet is individually sealed to maintain freshness and potency until use.

Storage and Shelf Life Information

Store these tablets in a cool, dry place below 25°C and keep them in their original packaging to protect from moisture. Do not use tablets that appear damaged or have passed their expiry date. Keep all medicines out of reach and sight of children.

Each pack is clearly marked with batch numbers and expiry dates for your safety. The foil packaging helps maintain the integrity of each tablet until you're ready to use it.

This product is a medicine. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using if you have an underlying medical condition or are taking other medicines.

Recommended Dosage for Adults and Children

Adults and children over 16 years should dissolve 1-2 tablets in half a glass of water every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in any 24-hour period. Children aged 12-15 years should take 1 tablet dissolved in water every 4-6 hours, with a maximum of 4 tablets in 24 hours.

Always leave at least 4 hours between doses and do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist for further advice.

How to Prepare and Take Your Medicine

Remove one or two tablets from the foil packaging and drop them into half a glass of cold or warm water. Stir gently and wait for the tablets to dissolve completely before drinking. The solution should be consumed immediately after preparation and not stored for later use.

You can take this medicine with or without food. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one. Ensure you maintain the minimum 4-hour gap between doses.
