Nuromol Tablets for Dual Action Pain Relief

You can rely on this combination medicine to tackle moderate pain when single-ingredient painkillers aren't providing sufficient relief. Each tablet contains two well-established active ingredients that work through different mechanisms to target pain and inflammation. This dual approach means you get the benefits of both components working together in a single dose.

The formulation combines the anti-inflammatory properties of one ingredient with the pain-blocking effects of another. This makes it particularly suitable for conditions where both pain and inflammation are present, such as muscular aches, dental pain, or period pain.

How This Combination Medicine Works

The two active ingredients in these tablets work through complementary pathways in your body. One component blocks the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that cause pain and inflammation at the site of injury or irritation. The other ingredient works centrally in your brain to reduce pain signals and lower fever.

This dual mechanism means you experience more comprehensive pain relief than you might achieve with either ingredient alone. The anti-inflammatory action helps reduce swelling and heat at the affected area, whilst the central pain-blocking effect provides additional comfort. You can find more options in our pain relief collection if you need alternative treatments.

Who Can Benefit from This Treatment

This medicine is suitable for adults and children over 12 years who need effective pain relief for short-term use. You might find it particularly helpful if you've tried single-ingredient painkillers without achieving adequate relief, or if your pain involves both inflammatory and non-inflammatory components.

The nuromol tablets are appropriate for various types of moderate pain including:

  • Headaches and migraines
  • Dental pain following procedures
  • Period pain and menstrual cramps
  • Muscular aches and joint pain

Why Choose This Dual-Ingredient Approach

The combination formula offers you the convenience of taking fewer tablets whilst potentially achieving better pain control. Rather than taking two separate medicines, you get both active ingredients in the correct ratio in a single tablet. This reduces the risk of accidentally exceeding recommended doses of either component.

The synergistic effect of the two ingredients means the total pain relief can be greater than the sum of the individual parts. This makes it a practical choice when you need reliable pain management for conditions that don't respond adequately to single-ingredient treatments.

Clinical Suitability and Storage Requirements

You should store these tablets in their original packaging, away from direct sunlight and moisture, at room temperature below 25°C. Keep them out of reach of children and check the expiry date before use. The tablets should remain effective until the expiry date when stored correctly.

This medicine is not suitable for everyone. You should not use it if you're allergic to either active ingredient, have severe heart, liver, or kidney problems, or are in the third trimester of pregnancy. Always read the patient information leaflet before starting treatment.

This product is a medicine. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using if you have an underlying medical condition or are taking other medicines.

Recommended Dosage for Adults and Children

You should take one or two tablets every six hours as needed for pain relief. Do not exceed six tablets in any 24-hour period. Swallow the tablets whole with water, preferably with or after food to reduce the risk of stomach irritation.

Children aged 12-17 years should take one tablet every six hours, with a maximum of three tablets in 24 hours. Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years of age. If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but never take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Important Administration Guidelines

You should use this medicine for the shortest time necessary to control your symptoms. Do not take it for more than three days for fever or more than three days for pain relief without consulting a healthcare professional. If your symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice promptly.

Take the tablets at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day rather than all at once. This helps maintain consistent levels of the active ingredients in your system and provides more effective pain control. Always leave at least six hours between doses to avoid exceeding safe limits.
