Solpadeine Max Soluble Tablets for Effective Pain Relief

You can rely on Solpadeine Max Soluble tablets to provide relief from moderate to severe pain including headaches, migraines, dental pain, period pain, and muscular aches. These effervescent tablets dissolve quickly in water to create a pleasant-tasting drink that your body can absorb rapidly.

Each tablet contains a combination of paracetamol, codeine phosphate, and caffeine that work together to target different aspects of pain. The soluble format means you can experience faster relief compared to standard tablets, as the active ingredients enter your bloodstream more quickly.

How the Triple-Action Formula Works

The three active ingredients in these tablets complement each other to provide comprehensive pain relief. Paracetamol reduces pain and fever by blocking pain signals in your brain and spinal cord. Codeine phosphate is an opioid analgesic that works on your central nervous system to reduce the perception of pain.

Caffeine enhances the effectiveness of the other ingredients and may help improve alertness when pain has been affecting your concentration. This combination approach means you get more effective relief than you might achieve with single-ingredient pain relief medications alone.

Who Can Benefit from These Tablets

These tablets are suitable for adults and children over 12 years who need relief from moderate to severe pain. You might find them particularly helpful if you experience regular headaches or migraines that don't respond well to standard painkillers.

The solpadeine max soluble format makes them ideal if you:

  • Have difficulty swallowing tablets
  • Want faster-acting pain relief
  • Prefer a pleasant-tasting alternative to standard tablets
  • Need portable pain relief that dissolves easily in water

Why Choose the Soluble Format

The effervescent formulation offers several advantages over conventional tablets. When you dissolve the tablet in water, it creates a solution that your stomach can process more efficiently, potentially leading to quicker onset of pain relief.

The soluble format also means you're getting adequate fluid intake alongside your medication, which can be beneficial when you're unwell. The pleasant taste makes the medication more acceptable, particularly if you find standard painkillers difficult to tolerate.

Storage and Shelf Life Considerations

You should store these tablets in their original packaging in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Keep them away from moisture and direct sunlight to maintain their effectiveness. The effervescent tablets are particularly sensitive to humidity, so ensure the tube is tightly closed after each use.

Check the expiry date before use and don't use tablets that have passed their expiry date or show signs of deterioration such as discolouration or crumbling. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

This product is a medicine. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using if you have an underlying medical condition or are taking other medicines.

Recommended Dosage for Adults and Children

Adults and children over 16 years should dissolve one to two tablets in a glass of water every four to six hours as needed. You should not exceed eight tablets in any 24-hour period. Children aged 12 to 15 years should take one tablet dissolved in water every six hours, with a maximum of four tablets in 24 hours.

Always leave at least four hours between doses and do not exceed the stated dose. If you need to use this medication for more than three days, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

How to Prepare and Take Your Medication

Drop the required number of tablets into a glass containing at least 100ml of cold water. Allow the tablets to dissolve completely before drinking - this usually takes one to two minutes. Stir gently if needed to ensure complete dissolution.

Drink the solution immediately after preparation. Do not save dissolved medication for later use. You can take this medication with or without food, though taking it with food may help reduce the risk of stomach upset. Ensure you drink plenty of fluids throughout the day when using this medication.
