How these tools work, and what they are not

Every calculator runs using published, clinically-referenced formulas, shown alongside their sources on each tool page. They give educational estimates and are not a substitute for a GPhC-registered prescriber, who can see your full medical history before recommending treatment.

Questions about these tools

Are these tools free?
Yes. Every calculator on this page is free, needs no account, and has no paid tier.
Is my data stored when I use a calculator?
No. Each calculator runs in your browser, and the figures you enter are never sent to our servers, saved, or linked to you. Closing the page discards everything — favourites are the only thing saved, and only on your own device.
Can a calculator tell me if I am eligible for GLP-1 treatment?
Not on its own. The GLP-1 eligibility calculator gives an estimate based on your BMI and a short comorbidity checklist. A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews your full medical history before confirming whether treatment is appropriate.
Which calculator should I start with?
If you are new, start with BMI or TDEE to understand your baseline. From there, use the Calorie Deficit calculator if you are managing your weight yourself, or the GLP-1 Eligibility calculator if you are considering treatment.
