Product Description

Imodium Instant Melts are a type of medication used to treat sudden short-lived (acute) attacks of diarrhoea in adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Directions for Use:

Place the Imodium Instant Melts on your tongue; they will dissolve instantly without the need for water. Do not chew or swallow the melts whole. The usual dose is:

  • Two melts initially, followed by one melt after each loose bowel movement.
  • Do not exceed a maximum of 6 melts in any 24-hour period.

Warnings:

  • Do not use Imodium Instant Melts if you are under 12 years old.
  • Avoid using this medication if you have severe diarrhoea after taking antibiotics.
  • Consult a doctor before using if you have liver problems.

Side Effects:

Common side effects of Imodium Instant Melts may include:

  • Constipation
  • Dizziness
  • Tiredness

If you experience severe abdominal pain, severe constipation, or symptoms of dehydration, stop using the medication and seek medical advice.

Storage Information:

Store Imodium Instant Melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
