What is Optrex Bacterial Conjunctivitis 1% w/w Ointment 4g?

Optrex Bacterial Conjunctivitis Ointment is a medication used for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis. It comes in a 4g tube containing 1% w/w of the active ingredient.

Directions for Use:

• Wash your hands before using the ointment.
• Apply a small amount (around 1cm) of the ointment inside the lower eyelid.
• Close your eye gently for a few moments to allow the ointment to spread evenly.
• Use as directed by your healthcare professional.

Warnings:

• Avoid touching the tip of the tube to prevent contamination.
• Avoid using the ointment if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
